Pending Write-up: Drive (Track 10)

I wrote this song a while ago and originally it was to a different beat. The funny thing is I wrote the hook for my homie he was actually going harder than me at rap. I didn’t have an album on the horizon or nothing. I was focused on working and getting an idea on what I was going to do with my life.

The hook just sat for a while and I felt it was way to good to just let go to waste. I wrote two verses for it and recorded it over a instrumental. Then Lone Monk produced the music for it.

I was watching the movie Speed Racer a hell of a lot….the movie is all about overcoming challenges so I was a bit influenced to incorporate the ideal meaning of a person having “drive”.
