Day 11 – Kagurazaka and Friendly Japanese
I hiked on over to Kagurazaka today, it was a location suggested by my friends I made in Osaka.
It is a really quiet area, and the locals are so hospitable, like everywhere else in Japan.
I stopped by this small shop to pick up some house slippers. I mentioned that they were a present for my younger brother and the couple running the shop decided that they wanted to wrap the slippers for me. The husband got on his bike rode down the street to another shop bought some wrapping supplies and brought them back to his wife so she could wrap the slippers for me.
And this is a place I am voluntarily leaving….I must be going mad.
